Jim Baker

Caretaker / Property Manager

jimI have been the caretaker/property manager since Jan. 2005. I live here on the property with my wife Joyce, son Matthew, and his daughter Amber. We have a corgi mix dog named Hatchet, a rainbow conure named Peep, and a double yellowheaded Amazon named Georgianna ( she is 35 yrs old). I retired from the U.S. Navy as an SK1(sw)USN(ret) in 1995 after visiting 24 different countries worldwide.

When I am not shuffling between buildings preparing for the numerous functions that occur here you can find me playing Mafia Wars online, cooking for the family, playing with grandaughter Amber or collecting stamps and other “old stuff”. My collection is up to over 17,000 different stamps worldwide.

I enjoy this job very very much and hope to continue in this capacity for many years to come.
